Assistant Professor Dr. Fayrouz Gaber

Assistant Professor Dr. Fayrouz Gaber is a distinguished academic and researcher specializing in media studies and press institution management. Throughout her career, she has devoted herself to exploring and developing modern media management methods, with a particular focus on their impact on press and media institutions in Egypt and the Arab world. Born in Menoufia Governorate, Egypt, Dr. Fayrouz combines advanced academic achievements with extensive professional experience in the fields of media and institutional administration.
Her academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Media – Journalism Division, Menoufia University, with a “Good” grade. She later pursued her Master’s degree at the same university with a thesis entitled “The Effectiveness of Sustaining the Application of Total Quality Management Systems on the Performance of Egyptian Press Institutions”, a comparative study focusing on both state-owned and private press institutions, graduating with distinction. Dr. Fayrouz then earned her Ph.D. in press institution management from Sohag University, with a dissertation entitled “Modern Management Approaches and Their Relation to Control Systems in Egyptian Press Institutions.”
Alongside her academic studies, Dr. Fayrouz has engaged in numerous training courses and specialized workshops in management, media, human development, and languages. She has successfully completed language proficiency programs in English and German, obtained the International Computer Driving License (ICDL), and pursued advanced international training in leadership and project management through platforms such as Coursera.
Her scholarly contributions include several peer-reviewed research papers on topics such as: the impact of decentralization on improving employee performance in Egyptian press institutions, the role of corporate environmental responsibility in raising awareness among employees, the influence of modern management practices on organizational performance, and the strategic use of new media and social media platforms by press organizations to address the challenges of digital competition. In addition, she has actively participated in international conferences, presenting studies that examine the transformations and challenges facing the media sector in the digital era.
Beyond academia, Dr. Fayrouz has played an active role in community engagement. She has volunteered in community development associations, participated in the National Council for Women, and contributed to civic initiatives focused on social and developmental activities. Her work reflects a commitment to linking theoretical knowledge with practical applications, especially in the areas of media and institutional management.
