Professor Dr. Magda Mahmoud

Professor Dr. Magda Mahmoud Abdel Aal is a distinguished media figure, academic, and civil society activist in Egypt and the Arab world. She currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the “Majd Masr Foundation for Media and Development”, where she leads strategic initiatives that aim to enhance social awareness, support sustainable development, and shed light on pressing national and humanitarian issues.

In her professional career, Dr. Magda holds the position of Senior Correspondent at Egyptian Television, where she is widely recognized for her distinctive journalistic style that combines credibility, boldness, and advocacy. Through her media contributions, she has addressed key national and social concerns, with a particular focus on women’s issues and human rights.

Beyond her media work, Dr. Magda is an academic lecturer at several universities, specializing in media and mass communication.
